Our corporate partners are forward-thinking businesses who work with us to fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility programmes or to have a team night out with a difference.
Yelp
For this Supper Club, we collaborated with our friends at Yelp, inspired by an idea from our long-time volunteer, Uli, who works with the Culture Team there. This special evening was hosted at the new Art’otel in Hoxton on their 24th floor, offering breathtaking views across London.
Thank you to the wonderful Art’otel team, who made every effort to make the Mike’s Table community feel welcome in this new space. Sylver (Eulalee Studio), a jeweller, fashion designer, filmmaker, and artist currently doing a residency at the Art’otel, led a special art workshop for guests. Sylver’s work focuses on shedding light on overlooked topics centring marginalised communities. Their workshop ‘Wear in Mind’ invited guests to take material scraps/waste and transform it into a piece of jewellery inspired by a personal memory. The pieces guests made were really special, accompanied with beautiful stories behind them.
Selfridges
We partnered with Selfridges flagship store on Oxford Street, London, working with their restaurant team and the food hall who saved their surplus food then transformed it into a special 3 course meal served in their in-store restaurant The Corner.
Staff from all levels of the store volunteered to serve and host these evenings for our non-paying guests. Everyone gets so much out of these special evenings.
OakTree Consultancy
OakTree Consultancy bought 20 tickets for one of our Supper Clubs and we invited 20 non-paying guests to join them. We started with icebreaker board games then the consultants sat with the other guests to enjoy the meal. It was an extraordinary evening for everyone.
