We're excited to invite you to our next supper club on Sunday 16th February, a special collaboration with Plateful Cafe. Our chefs are joining forces in the kitchen to create a delicious 3-course, vegetarian feast with a Sudanese theme.
About the event
We're hosting the evening at the historic Brixton Windmill, the only working flour mill in London. Join us this Valentine's weekend in this unique setting for an evening of delicious food, live music, and wonderful company.
We are welcoming 35 guests in total, including both paying guests and guests referred by our charity partners, who will be attending free-of-charge. Your ticket will directly support these non-paying guests – individuals in the community facing social isolation who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience a social setting.
Together, we will enjoy a shared meal, a unique chance to connect with remarkable people from the community. Our hosts at Mike's Table will provide exceptional hospitality, ensuring that everyone who attends has a memorable and joyful evening.
Your ticket will include:
A restaurant-quality, three-course, vegetarian menu with a Sudanese theme.
Welcome drink upon arrival – Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available.
Live music
BYO - Guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic drinks. Soft drinks will be available.
Free raffle for guests – No Mike's Table would be complete without it!
Plateful Cafe will be selling some merchandise on the evening, for any last minute Valentine's gifts!

Accessibility: Venue is step-free and accessible for wheelchair users, but there is a slight raised curb to access Blenheim Gardens from the road. If you have questions about any access needs please contact meggie@mikes-table.org.
About Plateful Cafe
Plateful Cafe is a charity dedicated to creating opportunities for refugee chefs in South East London. Their catering training programme helps chefs who have experienced forced migration build valuable experience in London. They ensure fair pay, offering a London-living wage to all their chefs. Through buying a ticket for this event, you'll also be supporting their incredible work.
