About the event

Bongs Bongs looked so festive with a Christmas Tree in the ‘home’ corner and we got into the spirit by serving mulled wine or mulled apple to guests as they arrived. We then took our places and had a stab at the quiz. A team from the Rockhopper Climbing club won and they were delighted with the big boxes Cliff bars as prizes. The menu, devised on the night, was suitably festive too (and delicious) and so many guests said what a great start to the yuletide season it was.

 
 
 

Menu

Starter:
Mushroom stuffed and baked with Baronet Cheese serves on a spicy pepper sauce.
Seared Beef fillet on a Split Pea Hummus

Main:
Turkey Curry with Pickled Cucumbers
Roast Vegetable Tagine with Herbed Goat’s Curd served with rice

Desert:
Mince Pie Baklava with citrus Yoghurt and toasted Marshmallows
