We were delighted to return to one of our favourite venues, The Spitalfields City Farm, for our first event of 2021. Like us, the City Farm has been closed since March 2020 so it felt right to celebrate the ‘new normal’ together- like a pair of Phoenix rising from the ashes.

Yoga Brunch

What a gorgeous way to start the weekend. We gathered in the sunlit hall of the Refettorio for tea and coffee then enjoyed a delightful hour of yoga with our very own Jess Swallow, who guided us through a series of poses designed to stretch and relax. Everyone felt wonderful afterward.

Much More than Pub Grub

Young's Pub group have been cooking tasty food in their pubs around London and the UK since 1831, so they know what they're doing! Which is why we said YES! when they offered their Prep Kitchen, their Chef's Table Dining Room and their Chefs to work with Mike's Table for one evening only.
FareShare Volunteer Day Party

FareShare has been supplying surplus food to Mike's Table since our very first event. It wouldn't be possible without their huge team of volunteers and so they decided to celebrate National Volunteers Week with a party.
5 Loaves 2 Fishes

City Harvest collect food that is not needed, food that would be thrown away, from all kinds of places and luckily this event coincided with their team collecting from the Chelsea Flower Show. What perfect timing!
Breaking Bread

‘Breaking Bread’ was a set of two pop up supper clubs. As always, the evenings included three fabulous courses, made from surplus food, devised on the night by our fabulous chefs. Unsurprisingly, there was lots of sourdough involved!
The Extended Family
